Our model handbook policies have recently been updated to include a specific District of Columbia and Rhode Island Pregnancy Accommodation policy.
We recommend that impacted clients distribute the new policy and have employees acknowledge receipt in writing. The acknowledgement should be maintained in the employee’s personnel file.
