Extended Open Enrollment for TotalChoice Voluntary Benefits

When accidents, illnesses and hospitalizations happen they can be emotionally and financially devastating, not to mention the difficulty of planning for them. In fact, 45.4 million emergency room hospital visits result from unplanned injuries*. Voluntary gap medical plans can help your employees cover health plan deductibles and other costs they may incur due to an accident or illness. These voluntary benefits are available to your worksite employees at at no extra cost to you.
ADP TotalSource is offering an opportunity for your eligible employees to enroll in the following voluntary insurance benefits offered by MetLife:
- Voluntary Term Life – up to $100,000; employees do not have to prove they are in good health
- Critical Illness insurance
- Accident insurance
- Hospital Indemnity insurance
- Group Legal Plan
The open enrollment deadline for your full- and part-time worksite employees eligible to enroll in TotalChoice Voluntary Benefits has been extended to May 31, 2015.
Worksite employees can learn more about these benefits. They can also text TCVB to 80565 to receive a video link that will tell them more about these benefits (text TCVBS to 80565 to receive a link to a Spanish video.)**
Once your employees are ready to enroll they can access these benefits by going to:
- My TotalSource. Click Myself > Benefits Resource Center > TotalChoice™Voluntary Benefits, or
- Mercer Call Center (800) 557-1038, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., EDT Monday – Friday
Worksite employees who enroll between May 4 and May 31, for any plan, will have the benefit effective June 1, 2015; their payroll deduction for these benefits will begin in July, including the June premiums. Regular monthly premium deductions will resume in August.
Employees will see the following note when they visit the Mercer Marketplace Voluntary Benefit Enrollment System.
