2021 ACA Reporting Begins!

Applicable Large Employers (ALEs), employers with an average of at least 50 full-time employees (including full-time equivalents) in the prior calendar year (2020), need to file ACA Forms 1094-C and 1095-C with the IRS.

Since the IRS has indicated that it intends to end good faith relief for ACA Reporting for the 2021 calendar year, it is more important than ever that ALEs review and acknowledge their IRS ACA Forms 1094-C and 1095-C in a timely manner to avoid potential ACA penalties*.

To review and acknowledge your forms simply:

Step 1: Go to MyTotalSource

Step 2: Click on the 2021 ACA Reporting Tool (ART) button

Step 3: Follow screens to Acknowledge & Submit for each FEIN in your Control Group

ADP TotalSource will:

* Continue to update your Forms 1094-C and 1095-C based on your year-end payroll and benefits data and furnish the IRS Form 1095-C forms to your employees

* Transmit the required filings directly to the IRS on your behalf

* Send confirmation when IRS efiling is completed so you can review the filing and any errors the IRS has identified

*New this year! If you do not wish for Forms 1095-C and 1094-C to be automatically acknowledged for print and transmission to the IRS, select the “I do not authorize” radio button in ART prior to January 20, 2022 to ensure reporting is not completed. (You will see a big yellow banner when you log in to MyTotalSource if your company is flagged as an ALE in our system).
