Open Enrollment for Mercer TotalChoice Voluntary Benefits

TotalChoice™ Voluntary Benefits enrollment is open to all eligible worksite employees (WSEs) from April 1 to May 31, 2018.
In addition to existing TotalChoice™ Voluntary Benefits, your worksite employees will now have the opportunity to enroll in Short Term Disability (up to 60% benefit coverage level) with evidence of insurability completion (i.e., medical questionnaire) and Term Life Insurance (up to the guaranteed benefit amount of $100,000) without medical underwriting completion. ADP TotalSource® began sending communications about this enrollment period to worksite employees the week of March 26 via email, or by mail (if no email is on file.)
Coverage Effective Dates:
Voluntary STD: Employees who enroll in Voluntary STD during April 2018 will have a benefit effective date of June 1, 2018. Employees who enroll during May 2018 will have a benefit effective date of July 1, 2018.
All other products: Employees who enroll in any other voluntary product from April 1-22, 2018, will have a benefit effective date of June 1, 2018. However, enrollments processed after May 31, 2018, will have a coverage effective date of June 1, 2018 with deductions for the benefit(s) beginning on July 2018.
