Affordable Care Act (ACA) End of Year Reporting Survey

If you are an Applicable Large Employer (ALE) an important ACA deadline is coming up which will require you to take action.
ADP TotalSource will make sure you are informed and prepared for the steps you need to take to stay compliant with the IRS. We will send a survey on September 10, 2018 that will need to be completed in order for ADP TotalSource to complete ACA Reporting requirements on your behalf.
An employer with at least 50 employees – including full-time equivalents – in the preceding calendar year is considered an Applicable Large Employer (ALE) for the current year.
ALEs are subject to the Employer Shared Responsibility Rules of the ACA. The preceding calendar year is calendar year January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017.
Your answers to certain preliminary questions will determine the scope of all of the questions you need to answer.
Here is a preview of the 10 potential questions included in the survey:
- Are you an ALE?
- Is this the first year your company qualifies as an ALE?
- Are you considered a designated government entity?
- Do you contribute to a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)?
- Do you offer your employees an opt-out payment for waiving medical coverage?
- Does your company employ Union Employees who are in a Multiemployer Plan sponsored by a union?
- Please select a section 4980H Safe Harbor to determine affordability for your employees. The Rate of Pay Safe Harbor is selected by default.
- Please list ALE members that are associated with an FEIN as part of an Aggregated Group.
- Who are the best contacts for follow-up questions?
- Will the 1094-C form prepared by TotalSource be used as the Authoritative Transmittal to the IRS?
