Poster Compliance Update

Department of Labor State Poster: 

Effective January 1, 2017 several states’ labor departments adopted regulations impacting one or more of the following provisions: Minimum Wage, Paid Parental Leave, Paid Sick Leave, Health Care Security Ordinance, Discrimination, Equal Pay for Equal Work, Unemployment Insurance, Oregon OSHA, Health and Safety Protection on the Job. These are mandatory changes and a new state poster is required.

 

States impacted by this update are: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington.

 

Federal Contractor Combined Poster:

The Minimum Wage and Paid Sick Leave federal contractors poster has also been updated and will be added to the all-in-one Federal Contractor Combined Poster.

 

Poster Requirement

Employers must post the updated state and/or federal contractor poster in their establishment. For more information regarding these changes and how they may apply to your state click here to access the Department Of Labor.
