Employers that are considered Applicable Large Employers (ALE) and subject to the Employer Shared Responsibility mandate are expected to comply with regulations under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) or risk the potential IRS penalties.
ADP TotalSource® simplifies Affordable Care Act (ACA) Compliance through our online ACA Reporting Tool (ART). The ACA Reporting Tool will be available to begin acknowledgment starting today, October 5, 2017.
Beginning this year, if you are an ALE employer, you will see a compliance alert banner on the home page of My TotalSource prompting you to complete the needed steps for us to file their 1094-C and 1095-C Forms on your behalf.
Your next steps if you are an ALE:
- If you choose the "Remind Me Later" option, you will receive an initial email and follow-up reminder emails every seven days until you have completed ACA Acknowledgement in the ACA Reporting Tool.
- If you choose the “Start Now” option, you will be taken directly to the ACA Reporting Tool. There you will be guided through the acknowledgement process as required for ADP TotalSource to file on your behalf.
