It’s Almost Time to Acknowledge Your Data

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting deadlines for ALEs are approaching. ADP TotalSource will help you every step of the way. We recently asked you to confirm your Applicable Large Employer (ALE)* status so we can assist with your ACA filings.  2017 will mark the second year ALE’s will be required to provide an annual statement to each full-time employee on any health coverage offered and file the information with the IRS.

If you are an ALE, you simply need to use our ACA Reporting Tool (ART) to confirm the information being filed and acknowledge your data.  The tool will become available on October 14.  ADP TotalSource will handle the rest. We will:

  • Convert your payroll and benefits data into the required reporting format.
  • Issue the Form 1095-C to your employees and transmit the required information directly to the IRS on your behalf.
  • Provide your employees with instructions about using the Form 1095-C to complete their tax returns.

In the Search box at top right corner of iLearn, Select “ACA 2016 Client Acknowledgment Using ART” and request video.

Use the ACA Reporting Tool (ART) Data Entry Guide to help you answer the initially required questions in the ART before you acknowledge.

In the Search box at top right corner of iLearn, select “2016 ART Data Entry Template”.

As the ACA reporting deadline gets closer, we will keep you informed and provide you with the guidance and support needed to ease your compliance burden and avoid costly penalties.
