New overtime rule: Evaluating your options for compliance

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) recently released a final rule that will increase the minimum salary required for employees to be exempt from overtime. This final rule takes effect on January 1, 2020 — less than 90 days from now. Evaluate your options and start preparing today.

This Compliance Calendar covers January 1, 2020 minimum wage increases for all applicable states and some larger U.S. cities. Please note that several jurisdictions adjust their minimum wage rates annually for inflation, and some of them haven't yet announced their increases for January 2020.
