Today, there are over 10 million women-owned businesses in the United States, and this powerful number continues to rise each year. According to Entrepreneur, this growing population faces a unique set of social challenges that can make it more difficult to hire, rent office space and establish a healthy work-life balance.
ADP firmly believes that these entrepreneurs deserve every opportunity to succeed—and wants to have a hand in helping them to the top! We are proud to join forces with the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) to support women-owned organizations in overcoming these professional challenges and maximizing their business potential.
In NAWBO's recent press release, Maria Black, president of ADP’s Small Business Services and Human Resources Outsourcing, stated, "For decades, NAWBO has been leading the way for women business owners and ADP has been helping business owners pay, manage and reward their workforce to advance their businesses. We're honored to partner with this amazing network of women leaders to help them face their unique workplace challenges, and plan for the next phase of their work-life journey." Soon after, @ADP TotalSource took to Twitter to celebrate the news: "ADP is proud to work together with @NAWBONational to propel women-owned business performance."
ADP looks forward to impacting this critical segment of the American economy and becoming a stronger ally for women-business owners across the nation. We've already begun accelerating our efforts, turning our attention to the 2018 NAWBO Membership Study, published during National Small Business Week in May.
