Delaware raises minimum wage and permits employers to pay youth employees a “training wage” up to 50 cents less than the state minimum wage rate.

Delaware has passed a series of laws that will prohibit employers from discriminating against individuals because of their family responsibilities, their reproductive health decisions, or for discussing their wages with co-workers.

Delaware has enacted the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, extending workplace protections afforded to pregnant employees, and employees who have recently given birth, to include requiring employers provide reasonable accommodations to such employees.
