Berkeley, CA has increased its minimum wage rate to $15.00 per hour effective October 1, 2018. You should increase the rate for non exempt employees paid below the new minimum wage rate on or before the effective date and if needed, order a new poster. Please click here for a copy of the poster.
If you determine that increases are necessary, it is important that you make updates early enough so that your first payroll, on or after October 1, will be paid at the new rate.
