Daly City, California has announced that the city minimum wage will increase.
The Details:
The Daly City minimum wage will increase from $15.53 per hour to $16.07 per hour effective Jan. 1, 2023. All businesses regardless of size are subject to the minimum wage requirement.
The minimum wage ordinance covers all employees who work at least two hours per week within the city.
Note: California does not allow the use of a tip credit when paying tipped employees.

Effective Jan. 1, 2023, all Daly City employers must pay their employees at least $16.07 per hour if the employee works at least two hours per week within the city limits. Employers should also post an up-to-date minimum wage notice in the workplace which may found here.
