San Carlos, California has announced that the city’s minimum wage will increase.
The Details:
The San Carlos minimum wage will increase from $15.77 per hour to $16.32 per hour effective January 1, 2023. The minimum wage applies to all employers that maintain a place of business or perform any work or service within San Carlos city limits.
Learner employees may be paid no less than 85% of the applicable minimum wage for the first 160 hours of employment.
Note: California does not allow the use of a tip credit when paying tipped employees.
