Colorado minimum wage to increase on January 1, 2023

Colorado has announced that the state’s minimum wage will increase.

The Details: 

 

On January 1, 2023, the Colorado state minimum wage will increase from $12.56 per to $13.65 per hour.

Also on January 1, 2023, tipped employees (workers who customarily receives more than $30 per month in tips) must receive at least $10.63 per hour in cash wages.

Next Steps:

Colorado employers as of the first day of 2023 must pay employees at least the minimum wage as outlined above.
