Time to Analyze Your Pay Practices
Our people are one of our greatest assets and your relationship with ADP TotalSource provides you with access to our Wage and Hour Center of Excellence (“COE”). The COE can help you understand your Wage and Hour Compliance obligations under the Fair Labor Standards Act and state wage and hour laws. The COE can also assist you with any questions you may have related to the Wage and Hour technology products described in the COE Services overview. Finally, the COE can provide you with an assessment of your wage and hour practices. We strongly recommend that you take advantage of this valuable service.
About the Wage and Hour Assessment
The assessment is divided into two parts.
Part one of the assessment reviews the overtime exempt status of your employees using Navigator OT. Navigator OT is an easy to use technology solution that analyzes the overtime exempt status of employees under the most common overtime exemptions.
Part two of the assessment will provide you with helpful information and tools to identify relevant compliance requirements which you can use to benchmark against your current practices. This part of the assessment will cover the following areas:
- Coverage of Employees (independent contractors, trainees / interns and volunteers)
- Minimum Wage and Overtime Compensation Requirements
- Working Time (waiting, travel, training, on-call time and meal and rest periods)
- Exempt Employee Pay Practices
For more information, review the Wage and Hour COE Services Overview for a complete description of the COE services, instructions on how to use Navigator OT and to get started on your wage and hour assessment.
The overview can be located on FormSource > Payroll Section > Wage and Hour COE Services Overview.
