As you may be aware, in the past, we required Job Description questionnaires to be completed before we could prepare a job description. In addition, there is currently a database of sample job descriptions posted on FormSource.
We will be implementing the following process improvements in the near future:
- Questionnaires will no longer be required. If a sample job description that meets your needs is not available, simply send the title of the job and a short summary of what the job entails to Totalsource.SSC@adp.com and we will prepare a sample job description.
- Job Description titles on FormSource will be updated and formatting will be changing to an editable format.
- A new master job description template will be available to you as a useful starting point. This will allow you to customize a job description that meets your needs on your time and schedule. We can still of course review a completed job description upon request.
- Finally, a Job Descriptions toolkit will be available. The toolkit will provide best practices including the essential components of job descriptions, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) considerations and more.
During the period of May 11th through May 18th, Job Description samples will not be available online but can be requested by emailing Totalsource.SSC@adp.com. Additional updates will be included in the May 18, 2017 edition of the Insights and Solutions Bulletin.
