We at ADP Resource realize that managing your E-Verify cases can be complicated and confusing.  What do all those messages mean on the E-Verify Dashboard?  Why did I get an Error message?  And what does that Case Closure Code mean in plain English?

Help is here!  We’ve heard you and have created an E-Verify Error Management Guide (located in My ADP Resource under the payroll tab) to translate the E-Verify-ese into something more understandable.  The new E-Verify Guide also provides information on how to avoid creating an E-Verify Error in the first place as well as information on what the Case Closure Codes mean.  We’ve also enhanced the Dashboard to allow you to filter by paygroup and are now moving all resolved messages to a History filter.

Note that there are nine (9) states that currently mandate employers use E-Verify::

Arizona, Utah, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Federal Contractors and sub-contractors are also required to use E-Verify.  If you hire employees in any of these nine states and are using E-Verify independently, did you know that ADP Resource is integrated with the USCIS E-Verify system and can send over your Form I-9 information as your Employer Agent as soon as you complete the I-9 in our system?  With ADP Resource, there is no more need for a separate log in to the government system to manage your cases.  And there is no additional cost.

If you would like to get signed up to use ADP Resource as your Employer Agent, please contact your Payroll Service Representative or Human Resource Business Partner to start the sign up process.

We understand that even the savviest of HR administrators can find e-Verify confusing — we hope you find the new E-Verify Guide helpful in cutting through the confusion!
