As recently shared, South Carolina has enacted legislation (House Bill 3726), which requires employers to respond to requests for unemployment benefits information beginning March 1, 2024, and to file quarterly wage reports by April 30, 2024. South Carolina clarifies employer unemployment requirements

This notice is to inform you about how South Carolina has enacted a final rule that clarifies what information an employer must provide to the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (the Department) for an employee separation. The final rule is effective immediately.
