Multi-State (non-California) Handbook Updates

Policies Overview: We have made several important policy updates to our model handbook including the following:

• Non-Disclosure / Confidential Company Information
• Publicity, Statements to the Media
• Use of Communication and Computer Systems
• Use of Social Media
• Workplace Conduct
• Solicitation and Distribution

Action Required

We recommend that clients distribute, and that employees acknowledge receipt of, the new policies in writing. The acknowledgement should be maintained in the employee’s personnel file.

The new policies may be accessed on FormSource under the New Hire section. For your convenience the policies have been consolidated into one file titled: “Handbook Update – Multi-state (non-California) – Issued 8/21.”

Please note that clients with employees in California should instead access the file titled “Handbook Update – California – Issued 8/21.” As we communicated in a separate CA Handbook update announcement, the policies above are included in the California update along with California specific policy updates.
