We have updated the Sexual Harassment provisions to allow employers to include the work address and telephone number of the person or persons to whom complaints about sexual harassment should be made. Massachusetts requires employers to include this information in their sexual harassment policies.
We recommend that clients distribute and that employees acknowledge receipt of the revised policy in writing. The acknowledgement should be maintained in the employee’s personnel file.
The new policy may be accessed on FormSource under the New Hire section and is titled Handbook Update Massachusetts Sexual Harassment.
As always, feel free to contact Human Resources Solution Group if you have any questions.
