Minnesota state poster have been updated due to the new Minimum Wage effective August 1, 2015. Large employers must pay at least $9.00 an hour (annual gross volume of sales made or business done of $500,000 or more).

Minnesota Handbook Updates

As we previously reported, Minnesota has passed the Women’s Economic Security Act (“Act”).  The Act is a major piece of legislation aimed at improving working conditions for women that will have a significant impact on Minnesota businesses. A combination of at least nine different bills, the Act is intended to reduce the gender pay gap and to provide greater workplace protections for pregnant women and nursing mothers, among other things.
