OFCCP Issues Final Pay Transparency Rules

In 2014, President Obama issued Executive Order 13665, pertaining to government contractors with the intent of promoting pay transparency and making it possible for workers and job applicants to share information about their pay and compensation, without fear of discrimination. On September 10, 2015, the Department of Labor issued a Final Rule implementing that order.

Hear that clock ticking? Now is the time to get ready for the new Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting requirements. Under ACA, Applicable Large Employers (ALE) are required to file information returns with the Internal Revenue Service and provide statements to full-time employees. Reporting requirements go into effect in early 2016 for calendar year 2015.
